The Bachelor SA

Fan favourites Qiniso and Mulesa miss out on The Bachelor SA’s hometown visits

It’s been an intense few weeks on M-Net’s hit reality dating show, The Bachelor SA. Ten weeks ago, the show’s smart and sexy bachelor, Marc Buckner,  embarked on an adventure of a lifetime to find true love. He has forged incredible connections and in addition to all the tears and heartache, viewers witnessed startling drama and steamy intimate moments. This week, with six beautiful ladies remaining at the mansion, Marc faced the most difficult decision of the season. From the six stunning ladies in the mansion, he had to pick the top four – the ones who would take him to meet his family and friends during the home town visits.

The first lady to sigh a sigh of relief, knowing that she was taking Marc home, was Gillian-with-G. She received the coveted rose after a romantic one-on-one date, during which she could let down her walls and show Marc a different side to her. His heart got all mushy when she told him about her beautiful upbringing and special relationship with her mom.

At the rose ceremony Marc handed three remaining roses to Jessica R, Marisia and a surprised Bridget. Clearly Marc did not “friend-zone” her, as she firmly believed. So, this means that lovely, soft-spoken 27-year-old Human Rights Activist and Mediator Mulesa Lumina from Baysville in East London and fan darling 26-year-old Model and Masters Student, Qiniso van Damme from Cape Town, had to go home – without Marc!

Despite Mulesa’s and Qiniso’s connections with Marc not being strong enough to see them through the next chapter, both ladies have had a memorable journey in their quest to win over Marc’s heart. Qiniso caught Marc’s eye from the moment he laid eyes on her on the red carpet and she was the first beauty to bag a flaming kiss with him! While Mulesa’s relationship with him may have started slow, he’s spent the most time with her and who can forget when he called her “the most beautiful woman he has ever seen”.

Some highlights from the episode:

A ride in the countryside

Marc invited three lovely ladies for an adventure date in the countryside, where he attempted to unravel which relationships were progressing and which were going backwards. Marisia, Qiniso and Bridget received the invitation, but due to a dental emergency, Qiniso had to sit the date out. As per Marc’s request, Mulesa took Qiniso’s place – much to Jess.R’s dismay – who believed that Mulesa had spent sufficient time with Marc. The outdoor date was a fun mountain biking activity in Magaliesburg, where Marc had little chats with each of the ladies along the way, asking those all-important questions to dig deeper into each relationship. The date may have helped Marc to make up his mind, but the ladies were all left feeling confused and wondering if they have done enough

The Cocktail Party

The six ladies looked dazzling for the Cocktail Party, dressed in beautiful gowns and draped in jewels by Jack Friedman. The Cocktail Party was ultimately their last opportunity to chat with Marc and explain to him why he should choose them for hometowns. The evening felt uncomfortable and awkward and the ladies just wanted to have their chats and figure out where they stood before the Rose Ceremony. Bridget also broke down during the course of the evening, worried about the fact that their relationship was just platonic, and she was tired of always being the “friend”, which has been a pattern in past relationships.

Beautiful Rikki leaves The Bachelor SA

Her spectacular red carpet entrance revved up the romance on the very first night of The Bachelor SA and her contagious smile had viewers all over rooting for her to win over dreamy Marc Buckner’s heart. But tonight, in a surprise exit, 34-year-old raved-haired beauty Rikki Brest didn’t receive a rose and was sent home at the shows tenth Rose Ceremony.

The stunning all-rounder who has a number of titles under her belt – TV presenter, drummer of a popular girl band, drum teacher, actress, DJ, MC and marketing lecturer – spent weeks at the mansion – patiently awaiting her turn to be wooed by Marc – but to her disappointment – the moment never came to fruition. Rikki watched for weeks as her fellow housemates received their names on dates cards and enjoyed special dates to get to know Marc better. The constant waiting had Rikki eventually feeling frustrated and wanting to call it quits.

Rikki was invited to the second group date of the season along with five other girls, where they competed to beat Marc’s time on a skid course in a stylish Toyota Supra. Although Gillian won the competition, Marc clearly wanted more time with Rikki, and chose her to spend extra time. The pair spent the rest of the afternoon, in the back of his cosy Toyota Hilux, getting to know each other better. The date wasn’t sealed with a kiss, but there was a rose to sweeten the deal. Since then, the date cards didn’t roll in and Rikki was forced to make the most of her time with Marc at the Cocktail Parties, where most of their relationship developed, including some passionate kisses.

Marc convinced her that he was keeping her around for a reason, but a frustrated Rikki had had enough. Last week she expressed that she is not willing to wait forever, because she knows her worth. This week, she was ready to reject a rose after being let down once again and her patience running out, “I really don’t want to be negative again. I don’t want to tell him the same thing again. He is 36-years-old and if he can’t hear what I am saying, then what is the point of repeating myself over and over,” she said. During their last conversation at the Cocktail Party, she laid down her feelings to him for the last time: “I’m not going to beg, I’m not going to play games. If you wanted to spend time with me, you would have made a plan to do that,”.

A leap for love

Four beauts were invited to a thrilling group date. The challenge: To bungee jump off of the infamous Soweto Towers! Rikki was immediately relieved to not be invited, whilst Bridget, Gillian and Marisia were thrilled to spend more time with Marc. Jess.R on the other hand, was a little annoyed because she previously told Marc about her back injuries, and didn’t want to be the person who says no to something fun. Clearly, Marc wanted to spend more time with his number one lady, regardless if she jumped or not! Marisia took the jump in her stride and enjoyed the exhilarating experience, Gillian literally took a leap for love, kissing Marc just before she went for it and Bridget had to pluck up the most courage to eventually get the job done. Jess.R didn’t end up jumping but did manage to steal some sweet kisses, during some alone time just before Marc jumped.

Ingredients for love

Elegant Mulesa seems to be right at the top of Marc’s mind recently. Last week, she was invited for one-on-one time, which was stolen by Marisia with her Wild Rose and at the Cocktail Party  and she won one-on-one time after winning the Lottostar “Bet-on-Love” Blackjack game. Despite having spent sufficient time with her, Marc invited her for yet another one-on-one date, which many of the girls thought would be for Rikki!

Mulesa had the privilege of preparing a meal with Marc, one of his favourite past times. They chatted and got to know each other better, and reignited the flame. She also got a rose to put her mind at ease! After the date, Marc admitted: “The more time I spend with Mulesa alone, one-on-one, the more I can see that she is allowing herself to feel. She’s breaking down those walls very quickly. It’s different when there are other ladies around, but when it’s just the two of us, she’s very open and invested in this relationship,”. While Mulesa said giddily, “I feel very much at ease and very comfortable. And yeah, I do like him,”.

The Cocktail Party

The girls played another round of “Never-have-I-ever”, where Jess.R felt yet again as a target, with the girls speaking about her as if she wasn’t even there. When Marc arrived, he immediately grabbed Bridget for a chat. Then, Qiniso and Marc reached another level in their relationship, as they engaged in deep conversation about their families, moving away from the superficial conversations that he has been having with everyone else, which he really appreciated. Gillian’s relationship has reached a very physical level with Marc, as they enjoyed a very intimate and sexy make-out session at the “smooch couch”. The two of them really got in there, and Marisia almost awkwardly walked in on them! She got a chance with him later though, where Marc admitted that he’s getting shyer around her and he’s grateful to her for opening up. Jess.R was all smiles and excited to see and chat to Marc again, but was infuriated when Mulesa interrupted their time to get Marc to chat to Rikki.

Who will take a leap for love on The Bachelor SA?

This week’s group date on the The Bachelor SA is not for the faint of heart. Easy-on-the-eye Marc Buckner will invite four of the ladies to take a giant leap for love with him. While one of the ladies are relieved for not making Marc’s date list, another one is feeling quite anxious about being included. At this stage of the love game, any time with Marc is a bonus. But who is he falling for?

With seven ladies left and family visits looming, deciding who should receive roses has become more difficult than ever before for Marc. So, where are the ladies standing with Marc now?

Mulesa. There’s something about Mulesa that intrigues Marc. Remember how he called her the most beautiful woman he has ever seen? And her name seems to be popping up a lot recently. With Pasha gone, will she reignite the flame of love with Marc?

Qiniso. Marc made no secret that he was attracted to Qiniso right from being the first lady to enter the mansion. The chemistry was then confirmed with the first flaming kiss of the season. When Marc had questions about Q’s motivation for being on the show, he cleared up the confusion during the surprise two-on-one date with Jess.C,  showing that he still wanted to explore the relationship. She started coming out of her shell last week and this week she’s ready to make an important move!

Bridget. She has transformed from being the “queen of drama” to the “queen of hearts”. The ladies – and Marc – have grown increasingly fond of Bridget. Marc invited her for a special one-on-one after the Lottostar “Most-likely-to” game – where she was serenaded by Daniel Baron – and she has been completely honest and real with him. Is she the dark horse of the season?

Rikki. Beautiful brunette Rikki is one of the more mature ladies in the mansion and is ready for a serious relationship. One can’t help but notice from their interactions that there is a connection between Rikki and Marc, but why is he not inviting her on a one-on-one date? Is he perhaps waiting for the right moment?

Marisia. Shy and sweet Marisia has had two one-on-one dates with Marc and was the second lady to receive a Jack Friedman jewellery piece. And by using her Wild Rose she met Marc’s beloved rescue pooch Luna. The chemistry is clearly there, but is there a strong enough emotional connection?

Gillian. Happy-go-lucky Gillian-with-a-G has been enjoying every moment in the mansion – and her times with Marc.  She isn’t afraid to speak her mind. But, her secret weapon is knowing exactly how to separate the drama from her relationship with Marc, making their every moment together special.

Jess.R.  The stats say she’s in the lead when it comes to winning Marc’s heart: She nabbed the first getaway date, the first piece of Jack Friedman jewellery and has been receiving the most attention from Marc. Marc also seems to get giddy when he’s around her and is very concerned with how she feels like viewers saw at the pool party last week. Should we just head to the final with Jess.R like Pasha mentioned last week?

More reasons to tune in:

  • What’s cooking, good looking? Marc impresses a lovely lass with his culinary skills on a special one-on-one date.
  • Digging deeper: Qiniso takes the time to get to know Marc on a deeper level… will he appreciate her efforts?
  • The smooch room: There’s one spot in the mansion where all the kissing seems to happen. Who will end up with Marc in this room this week?

Shock exit on The Bachelor SA: Vivacious front runner Pasha goes home

In a surprise move, The Bachelor SA’s Marc Bucker decided to end his love journey with one of the alleged front runners to capture his heart. It’s true: Pasha dos Santos did not receive a rose this week!

From Season 2’s very first Rose Ceremony, the exquisitely beautiful 27-year-old dancer from Cape Town unleashed the green-eyed monster in the show’s luxurious mansion. Her difficult time with the other ladies started when Marc picked her as the first recipient of the then mysterious Wild Rose, which allowed her to steal a date, which she did when the first opportunity presented itself. To many of the ladies’ dismay, Pasha also clinched two coveted one-on-one dates with the handsome Bachelor, while they were anxiously waiting for their chance to get to know him a little better.

No wonder her competition – and many fans of the show – figured that she was a strong contender to end up with a ring on her finger.

Often misunderstood Pasha’s sexy lap dance at the talent show did not raise her popularity in the mansion. The ladies questioned the chemistry between Pasha and Marc and became adamant about showing him what they called “the person behind the façade”. Their devious plan kicked in at the Lottostar “Most-Likely-To” game, where they turned her into a target. Then they moved on to tipping Marc off individually during their conversations.

Even though Pasha tried to stay focused, all the tension took its toll. In the last few episodes, she made comments about being tired of running after and sharing a man. She also realised this week that Marc may no longer be interested when he didn’t address her at the pool party and was cold and unaffectionate towards her during their conversation at the Cocktail Party. During her exit, she said: “It’s okay that it’s come to this. I really appreciate the journey. It’s taught me a lot, I’ve grown a lot. I’m really, truly grateful. Out of the ladies who are left, I might pair Marc up with Jess.R or Marisia, just because they both don’t like conflict, and that’s what he likes,”.

The dramatic dinner party continued…

Last week, viewers were left in suspense, wondering if Rikki’s journey on The Bachelor SA would continue. All was cleared up when Marc asked for ten more minutes and whisked Rikki off for a chat, where he cleared things up, enjoyed a smooch and gave her a rose, phew!

While Rikki enjoyed her alone time with Marc, the rest of the ladies cleared the air. Here’s the tea:

  • Jess.R was exposed for asking Marisia not to use her Wild Rose
  • Qiniso called Jess.R out, “I actually can’t deal. The fakeness here and the desperado is wow,” she said.
  • Jess.R explained what she meant to Gillian, while Pasha rolled her eyes.
  • Pasha passed snide comments about Jess.R’s request to Marisia, which prompted Bridget to ask her to stop, “I know you want to keep it up, but you must stop now because it’s getting a bit much and everyone’s on edge and everyone’s sensitive. Just leave it,” she said.
  • Pasha didn’t stop. Bridget flipped, followed by Marisia.
  • Bridget and Pasha broke out into an intense argument… Pasha stormed off, followed by Bridget and Marisia shortly after in tears.

The Pool Party

Marc hosted a pool party at the mansion, in an attempt to lighten the mood. When he arrived, he greeted all the ladies and sat next to Jess.R, who was clearly sulky and unresponsive. The two of them left for a chat where she broke down in tears, explaining to him how she was feeling and being treated in the house. They returned from their chat holding hands, and by that point, the other ladies felt like outsiders at the pool party, with Marc only paying attention to Jess.R. He then spent some time with the other ladies, who took the opportunity to discuss the Jess.R situation, which he didn’t really enjoy. He then pulls Marisia aside, to basically tell her that he wants her to use the Wild Rose.

A special one-on-one

During the pool party, Marc delivered a date card, inviting Mulesa for a one-on-one date. But, surprise, surprise, shy Marisia decided to use her Wild Rose after all! By using her Wild Rose, she may have received one of the most special dates yet – she got to meet Marc’s beloved furry friend, Luna! Marc and Marisia spent their date bonding with each other and Luna, and eventually cuddling on some cushions in a romantic setting, where he presented her with a custom made Jack Friedman earring set – and a rose!

The Cocktail Party

The ladies were treated to a special Lottostar Casino Royale evening, where they each could bet on love with a game of Black Jack. The prize? Guaranteed uninterrupted time with Marc. In the end, Mulesa and Bridget found themselves with a similar amount of chips but decided to even it out so that Marc could choose between them. But – to Bridget’s disappointment – Jason announced a sudden death round and Mulesa won. She used the time to catch up and find out the status of their relationship.

Another Wild Rose, a two-on-one date and more surprises shook up The Bachelor SA!

This week’s episode of The Bachelor SA featured trying twists, surprises and unusual proceedings. Two ladies were blindsided with a two-on-one date, a second Wild Rose came into play and the Cocktail Party and Rose Ceremony were combined into a surprise Dinner Party, where roses were handed out throughout the evening. During the episode, Jess.C was sent home after a two-on-one date, and the episode ended with a cliffhanger, which set Bachelor fans in a frenzy about whether gorgeous Rikki is still in line to win Marc’s heart.

Let’s break it down:

It all started with a Group Date, where Marc invited all the ladies (Jess.C, Marisia, Rikki, Gillian, Pasha, Jess.R and Mulesa) out on a chemistry group date, but left Bridget and Qiniso behind. Why? Well, Qiniso had a lovely one-on-one on the cards. On the group date, each of the ladies had the opportunity to feel up a blindfolded Marc, to establish their level of connection and chemistry, under the professional eye of Leah Sefor: Life, Relationship and Communications Coach who was studying their interactions. At the end of the date, Marc offered Jess.R a rose, explaining that she had put a lot of effort into her interaction. But, the surprise came in when he picked up a second rose – a Wild Rose – and handed it to Marisia!

The ladies were not impressed that Jess.R received a rose, and felt offended that she was the only one considered to have “put in an effort”. He then invited Jess.C for much-needed breakaway time – she was the only lady who hadn’t received one-on-one time with him yet.

The Group date then moved into a surprise two-on-one date…

Jess.C was super-amped to finally get her time alone with Marc – but – surprise, surprise, in strolls Qiniso, who was under the impression that she was arriving for her one-on-one date. Both girls were shook… and soon realised that they had been blindsided with a two-on-one date. Who would stay – and who would go? An emotional Qiniso needed some time to collect herself and contain her emotions. They then both went for a one-on-one horse ride with Marc, where they answered the questions that he needed to be answered. At the end of the date, he stood in front of both ladies and asked if they had any last words. Jess.C said she needed more time, while an emotional Qiniso explained how this is not a game for her and that she can see Marc as her lover and her best friend. Marc gave Qiniso the rose, explaining that the date gave him the clarity he was looking for.

He and Qiniso then proceeded to a romantic setting at the stables to spend some alone time.

A visibly emotionally drained Qiniso later returned to the mansion, where she broke the news to the ladies: “ I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry. Jessica’s gone, guys. We had a two-on-one. And Jessica had to go,” she said in tears. The ladies were distraught, especially Jess.C’s in-house bestie, Bridget.

Then, an awkward Dinner Party

The episode ended with a Dinner Party at the mansion that replaced the usual cocktail party proceedings, and the Rose Ceremony. The vibe was very awkward and tense. The ladies were intimidated by Jess.R and the thought of Marc believing that she’d put in the most t effort on the Group Date. As soon as Marc arrived, Gillian jumped at the opportunity to confront him, which made him very uncomfortable. Marc then started pulling each of the ladies individually, to have a chat and hand out not only roses but kisses too, he literally locked lips with almost all the girls! The highlight, Bridget got her first kiss! Then, the drama ensued – Jason arrived to announce that anyone without a rose needed to say their goodbyes. Rikki was the only one without a rose. What now? We will find out next week!

What Does Hand Sanitizer Do to Our Jewellery ?

I am, on the best days, a germaphobe. My obsession with keeping germs at bay went into overdrive when I became a mom, and then throw in a pandemic, and I’m considering fashioning myself a hand sanitizer holster. Oh yeah, I’d wear it.

Years ago when I worked in retail, even then I had a small bottle of hand sanitizer close at hand. I remember being told that too much could eat away at the rhodium plating on my ring (I had a white gold wedding set at that time). Still, a quick rub here and there kept my hands feeling clean, and, though my ring definitely bled yellow over time, it’s hard to know if that was the reason why—or if it was just general wear and tear.

Currently, constant hand-washing and sanitizing isn’t just for peace of mind; it’s highly recommended. I don’t even want to write the word COVID-19—I swear it echoes in my dreams. But it’s keeping us prudently cleaning our hands, and in turn, cleaning our Jewellery , too—at least, the pieces we wear on our fingers.

Let me please preface this by saying that yes, you should absolutely positively wash wash wash, spray spray spray, scrub scrub scrub—whatever keeps your hands clean. Jewellery is precious, that is true, but your health is all the more so.

However, given that I’m sporting a newly redesigned wedding ring, I can’t help but wonder what I might be doing to it with my constant use of chemicals. Am I causing
damage?

I always take my ring off to shower, lotion, make meatballs—you get it. Not trying to gunk up the jewels here! But I almost never take it off to wash my hands, and certainly not to sanitize. I’m betting most wearers are the same.

I spoke with Shan Aithal, a metallurgist at Stuller, to get the dirt (pardon the pun) on keeping hands—and rings—clean.

“To my knowledge, hand sanitizers are not capable of removing tough, albeit thin,
rhodium that’s on a piece of Jewellery,” says Aithal. “Hand sanitizers come in two varieties: alcohol-based and non–alcohol-based. The ones with alcohol are benign to jewelry items as alcohol is the main germ-killing ingredient. However, non–alcohol based ones typically use chlorine-based compounds as germicides. These chlorine compounds could react with water and release free chlorine. Free chlorine radical is very reactive and could cause tarnishing of Jewellery, especially if it is made of sterling silver. Also, halogens are known to cause stress corrosion cracking in low karat golds, in particular, nickel white golds.”

It is worth noting, in this case, that the CDC recommends using alcohol-based hand sanitizers with at least 60% alcohol content. As long as you’re doing that, your metal will probably stay in great shape. Soaps, according to Aithal, are a different story.

“Soaps can contain abrasives, like Lava or that orange goo dispensed near hand-washing stations that could damage the surface of Jewellery and cause rhodium to be worn away.”

What about my diamonds and sapphires? It won’t damage them, but can leave a
filmy residue on the stones over time, dulling the sparkle. But it’s not permanent, and nothing a quick soak in an ultrasonic can’t fix.

“If anything, people should be cleaning their Jewellery more,” says Susi Smither, founder of The Rock Hound. “Think of all that horrid build-up of crud under rings and behind the setting of claw-set earrings. Hand sanitizer kills the baddies then evaporates fast—this shouldn’t have any detrimental effects on your gemstones, even materials such as gemstones and pearls. If you’re worried, at the end of the day give them a rinse and dry when you get home.”

Peggy Grosz, senior vice president at Assael, suggests erring more on the side of caution when it comes to pearls. “Sanitized skin should not come into contact with your pearls until completely dry and evaporated—wait about five minutes before putting on your pearls,” says Grosz. “As with perfumes and hairspray, the alcohol in the hand sanitizer can change the surface of the pearl, the two noticeable differences being a loss of luster and a change in color—white pearls, for example, will become yellowed if repeatedly exposed to such chemicals. Pearl rings should be removed when applying hand sanitizer, but because they have a mounting which separates them from direct contact with the chemicals, it is safe to put rings back on after a few minutes.”

Bottom line? Most, if not all, Jewellery will be just fine, and of course you don’t want to discourage your customers from prioritizing their health. But it is a good idea to arm them with this information, perhaps a little extra bottle of ring cleaner, and a welcome back to the store to have their jewels cleaned professionally, regularly.

The Bachelor SA

Count on Pasha to raise the temperature on The Bachelor SA

Vivacious 27-year-old dancer, Pasha dos Santos from Cape Town sent ripples of fury through The Bachelor SA mansion once again this week. All because of a date card from South Africa’s most eligible TV hunk, Marc Bucker. Marc invited her on SECOND one-on-one date, while some of the other gorgeous ladies in the house have not even had a chance to get to know him properly all on their own at all.

The name on the date card immediately infuriated the ladies, but what set them off even more, was Pasha’s nonchalant response to the invitation.

Although not being in the mood to see Marc, Pasha was pleasantly surprised with his efforts to impress her. Our Bachelor invited her to a couples Aerial Silks session, in other words, taking the time to do something he knows she enjoys. The already sexy session, was followed by another surprise sensual experience in the form of a couples massage. And then, the date got even more intimate. Marc grabbed the opportunity to massage Pasha, which quickly led to a rose, and then, their first real kiss.

Meanwhile, back at the mansion, the ladies couldn’t stop talking about Pasha: Is there a connection? What does he see in her? Why has he chosen her again? What does the date card mean? When she returned, her excitement wasn’t reciprocated and she felt rather uncomfortable sharing the details about her date.

Pasha’s relationship with the ladies in the mansion has been problematic right from the start, when Marc handed her the Wild Rose and she decided to steal the show’s first date from Marisia with it. Some of them also deemed her lap dance at the talent show as inappropriate.

She may not be in a good space with the ladies, but this week showed that she has a special place in Marc’s heart…

Emotions at the mansion

A number of girls at the mansion are questioning the status of their relationships with Marc, after Pasha received another one-on-one date. Emotions ran high for: Bridget who wanted to leave the mansion due to her feeling like there was no point in staying; Andeline who was offended that he gave every girl a rose on their one-on-ones, but didn’t give her one; and lastly, Jess.R who just spent the week before with him at a getaway in Namibia and handed him a letter.

A trip to a bygone era

Five beautiful ladies were invited to spend time with Marc on a romantic steam train date – at Reef Steamers – where they spent time together as a group, as well as one-on-one. The ladies were Marisia, Daniella, Bridget Gillian and Jess.C. Some of the ladies used the time to validate their relationships with Marc, ask some tough questions and to get to know him better. Bridget decided to use the valuable time to air house politics – much to the dislike of Marc. Regardless, he still offered her a rose to put her mind at ease about their relationship. At the end of the group date, he asked Gillian to join him for special breakaway time, where he also presented her with a rose.

A shady Cocktail Party

The vibe at the Cocktail Party was not a pleasant one, as Pasha felt like an outsider among the ladies. This lead to her throwing some shady comments throughout the night, as she felt like the ladies were gossiping behind her back. Her comment, “whisky for skinny girls”, upset many of the ladies in the house, especially Bridget, who felt like the comment was aimed towards her.

On a positive note, Rikki got her first kiss!… and it looked as though neither of them could get enough.

The Rose Ceremony

With eleven ladies left and three roses already handed out on dates, only seven roses were up for grabs. And, as feelings become more and more profound, Marc’s decision on which lady to send home only gets tougher. Towards the end of the Rose Ceremony, Daniella was the unlucky lady to find herself without a rose and had to say goodbye. Her parting words: “I did mention to Marc on our group date that if you don’t see anything, please send me home. But it is hard because I wasn’t able to really get to know him. I do believe in true love, and I do believe that everyone has that one person that they’re going to spend the rest of their life with. I do think I’ll meet someone and I do think I’ll fall in love and I’ll have the happily ever after – it’s just not with Marc,”.
